all wrapped up into one

I have shared before two of my favorites...

Color = Yellow
Flower = Daffodil

~Both wrapped into one gift of beauty~

~They have shown themselves pretty these early days of March~

~What a pleasure to stand at the kitchen sink~

"A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake,
beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze."
  William Wordsworth
I hope you have enjoyed gazing on their beauty!

They are bee yooo teeee ful! I love them, too. Have you ever stopped and studied what a perfectly quirky shape they are? I can't see one without thinking of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory where he turns one into a cup and saucer.

Wonderful simple pleasure, Karen.

Hi Karen...

My...ohhh my!!! My friend, your daffodils are just glorious! If I had those beautiful blooms at my sink view, I wouldn't even mind doing the dishes! Hehe! Seriously though...they really are gorgeous and your photos are magnificent, my friend! Wished that you could have heard all of my ooohs and aaahs! What a talented lady you are! Thank you for sharing your beautiful, sunny yellow daffodils with us today! I am sooo ready for spring! I think it will be another good month before my daffodils peek through.

Thank you so much for coming by for a visit! I always enjoy your sweet notes, my friend!

Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

PS...I also took a peek at your last post! Loved all the sweet bird photos! Those little birds were just sooo cute with their feathers all ruffled up...made them look really plump! Too cute!

How LOVELY and WELCOME!! We're VERY wet and cold right now, with only two days of sunshine in the past several weeks.

We've always called them jonquils way down South where I grew up, and folks here in the Heartland say both, so I fit in, whichever I say.

I love your little Wordsworth quote about them---we took a tour through Lake Country when we were in England several years ago, and I'm embarrassed to say that as we stood in the little graveyard, it started to rain, and we all four raised the little colorful umbrellas Sis had bought as "party favors" for the trip, and did a twirl and step or two.

He loved color so much, I think he would have approved.

Thank you SO much for visiting today!!
