I'm keeping my promise!
I stated in an earlier post
that I would share my bird shots,
I have captured the past couple of months.
I hope you enjoy looking.
p.s. (I'll be changing my blog's background color soon).
Doesn't do the birds justice!
See the little fellow below flying in,
my husband has named him "Band-it", because of his face.
"Band-it" is resting on top!
The bird feeder is up above - he's looking up to wait his turn.
Isn't that precious?
He's still waiting, but moved to a different spot.
See how many you can count - in the trees too!
The following three pictures were taken before the snow day.
I had ran out of birdseed - had to keep them coming!
These two were the "watch dogs". literally
I am ending with my favorite!
I've not been out visiting with you,
accomplishing some deep cleaning
and
enjoying my break!
Look what's blooming at my house....
See ya,
Karen

Just beautiful. Aren't they just the sweetest things-you have to wonder how they make it in this big old world.
They are beautiful.....what great entertainment for you. I'd have a hard time leaving the window :) Great shots, thanks for sharing.
Unbelievably fantastic, Karen!! I mean, really, these are some of the best shots I've ever seen of birds, and I'm a huge bird lover.
That one of the cardinal with the food in his mouth is my favorite.
And I counted nine in that photo. Wonder how many I missed?
I have so enjoyed your pics they are just gorgeous! I'm envious though, we don't get nearly that many birds in our small garden.
I love these photos of birds in their habitat. Beautiful. Cardinals are so regal, aren't they!
Thanks, Karen. They are so beautiful!!!
such a variety of colorful birds!
They are just beautiful and it makes me think they will just open their mouth and talk.
Oh your blog looks beautiful also...you are just too creative...I am leaving my alone! LOL
Have a great weekend and enjoy your cleaning.
and then my heart with pleasure fills and dances with the daffodils!
Absolutely beautiful photo's Karen! My Daddy always had bird and hummingbird feeders...what fun it is to watch their antics.
Looks like Spring is on its way at your house.
Hugs.
Hi Karen,
I am so glad you left a comment on my blog. I remember I used to so enjoy your blog and somehow lost track of it. Your bird photos are beautiful...you must have a great lens. I can't believe the variety you have...I'm counting the days until the return of the finches and I haven't seen the bluebirds again...I have no idea what they eat with all the snow on the ground. I've enjoyed scrolling through your other posts and was wishing we had forsythia here...just beautiful!
i may not comment often, but I look forward to visiting again!
I am trying hard not to be jealous of all those beautiful cardinals!! I had been told they are territorial and therefore thought that's why I only see one pair at a time. I see that is not the case. You have taken some beautiful pictures. I really enjoyed these as we love feeding and watching birds too. I see a chickadee...is the one a sparrow and what's your favorite?
Donna
Good heavens!! You weren't kidding about these bird shots - woweeee! I am so impressed! :-) (You're not loving this photography hobby one little bit, are you?) LOL! I can tell you're SO into it...awesome! It was great to get your email today; thanks for the update. I'm so glad you are doing better. XOXO
Happy (almost) Friday! ♥
