Hi Karen,Your daffodils and your photos are beautiful. Yellow is a happy colour.God BlessBarb from Australia
How LOVELY and WELCOME!! We're VERY wet and cold right now, with only two days of sunshine in the past several weeks. We've always called them jonquils way down South where I grew up, and folks here in the Heartland say both, so I fit in, whichever I say.I love your little Wordsworth quote about them---we took a tour through Lake Country when we were in England several years ago, and I'm embarrassed to say that as we stood in the little graveyard, it started to rain, and we all four raised the little colorful umbrellas Sis had bought as "party favors" for the trip, and did a twirl and step or two.He loved color so much, I think he would have approved.Thank you SO much for visiting today!!rachel
Hi Karen! We are starting to see some pop up around here too and it just does my heart good. They are so lovely and I'm so glad you linked this up to Inspiration Friday this week. Definitely inspiring me to keep hoping for spring and brighter days! :-)Blessings to you,Vanessa
