Beauty & Pleasure

Amazing what a bouquet of "reduced price" tulips
can do for these Cold Winter Days & Nights.
~~~
Beauty & Pleasure brought to the room & soul.
Everybody needs beauty as well as bread,
 places to play in and pray in,
 where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
 ~John Muir
Cast your burden on the Lord,
 and He will sustain you;
Psalm 55:22a
I pray your Sunday is filled with worship
to our Creator & Sustainer.
Karen
Those flowers are lovely. I just did the same this week, bought a reduce priced bouquet of carnations and daisies to brighten up the room. I like how you put it "Beauty & Pleasure brought to the room & soul."
Beauty is all around me and most days I don't see them. Will be looking for His gifts surrounding me on His day, and give Him thanks. :)
Such beauty in those tulips and the way you arranged them. How true John Muir's quote is--beauty as well as bread feeds the soul.
I like the new design of your blog. Light and airy.
Blessings,
Janis
Love the quote! The tulips are so pretty. I wanted to get some tulips last night at the grocery store to enjoy during this snow - but, they were all out of flowers! Ugh! I love tulips - my grandmother and I planted bulbs when I was a little girl and they were so pretty when they came up. They are one of my all-time favorites!
