Amazing what a bouquet of "reduced price" tulips
can do for these Cold Winter Days & Nights.

Beauty & Pleasure brought to the room & soul.
Everybody needs beauty as well as bread,
places to play in and pray in,
where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.

Cast your burden on the Lord,
and He will sustain you;
Psalm 55:22a
I pray your Sunday is filled with worship
to our Creator & Sustainer.

Thanks for the lovely encouragement today,
Karen, and the great quote to add to my
quote journal.

Love the quote. So true. Gorgeous tulips!
Beautiful...are you have a fun weekend? Looks like you are...the pictures are great and a quote by John Muir...they did such a wonderful job telling about him in the recent American Parks series...have fun!!
How beautiful! There is something about flowers that stirs the soul, or at least mine. Blessings,Rose
Your tulips are beautiful Karen. I love the John Muir quote and the verse.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Back Porch.
Those flowers are lovely. I just did the same this week, bought a reduce priced bouquet of carnations and daisies to brighten up the room. I like how you put it "Beauty & Pleasure brought to the room & soul."
Karen your photography alone is very inspiring for me. This is one of the many things I love about being here, I learn and grow as a person through blogging:) XXX000 Thanks for sharing your thoughts...
So good to hear this encouragement. Thank you. I loved your wreath as well. So festive and fun. Praying for you and am glad that your still posting for us to enjoy! :)
Ur blog looks amazing! Love the header!

Yes a bouquet of tulips would be an inspiration and a great encouragement, Karen.
It has been so hot here the last few days... I need a little encouragement to get moving!
Love & blessings,
Jan
Beauty is all around me and most days I don't see them. Will be looking for His gifts surrounding me on His day, and give Him thanks. :)
Such beauty in those tulips and the way you arranged them. How true John Muir's quote is--beauty as well as bread feeds the soul.
I like the new design of your blog. Light and airy.
Blessings,
Janis
We just saw tulips beginning to peek through the mulch in the garden this week -- and felt blessed! The beauty of spring will be here soon. Thanks for sharing your beauties and inspiration!
So glad I clicked over here instead of just reading your blog in a reader...love your new blog look! Did you do it yourself?
Just want to say how much you kindness has meant to me since Mama's death. I'm thankful to have you as my blog friend!

So beautiful... We need to practice every day looking for the beauty in this time, in this day. Thank you for the reminder.
Thanks so much for coming by and following. I am following you right back...maybe we can meet in the middle. :))
Love the beautiful flowers. Our super market is full of beautiful tulips..I have to wait until a markdown, tho. :(
I did buy a bouquet of flowers for my daughter in law...her 18th wedding anniversary.:))
That photograph is gorgeous! The flowers make me long for Spring. Beautiful scripture too.

You are an encourager with words and beauty. I enjoyed visiting your blog.
Thanks for stopping by...
Karen what beauty and talent in your photos. Gorgeous! Your blog looks wonderful as well.
Happy week to you sweet friend.
Warmly, ~Melissa :)
Love the quote! The tulips are so pretty. I wanted to get some tulips last night at the grocery store to enjoy during this snow - but, they were all out of flowers! Ugh! I love tulips - my grandmother and I planted bulbs when I was a little girl and they were so pretty when they came up. They are one of my all-time favorites!
