Guess who cooked the gumbo?
I posted the recipe last October.

It was a hit!!!
Last night was special,
not only for getting to help
plan & prepare the meal,
but Nathan was able to share with them.
He asked the boys to help him with the
object of the game
and then he related those things
to the game of life.

That's our boy!
His mama thinks he goes up against
the ones, way to big for him.
The boys are makings great memories
on Thursday & Friday nights.
Not only memories being made
but, the guys are hearing
important principles on Thursday nights.
They are finding they have some great role models
whom they can come to anytime &
someone who cares about them....

I'm shaking my Pom Poms right now!! Sounds like so much fun getting together Thursday night for food and fellowship and then the Big game Friday night, watching your boy and his team win...forever memories! xo

Oh, the memories of those high school football games!!! So glad you are able to be a part of your son's games and meals! All those food choices makes me hungry!
Ah, high school football and the Friday night lights. I well remember it from back in the dayzzzz. I haven't been to a game since my daughter graduated from high school.
Oh how awesome...isn't it fun? I haven't ever had a football player...my five have been baseball and basketball. Sports sure takes our little boys and makes them men!
Today we all gather around the TV to watch UT/OU...again a family memory time. Besides Lea at Letters to Emily has thrown me a challenge...so I am hoping UT wins or I have to wear that ugly old hog hat.
Love you...praying for you...enjoy, enjoy, enjoy...now you have made me hungry.
Such a fun and exciting time...you will miss it when they are grown up and gone, I do! ;D
