autumn - season of harvest

It is the summer's great last heat,
It is the fall's first chill:  They meet.

Good Saturday Morning Karen! What delightful photos today. In our new to us house, we have two red flame maples that are just showing color. We've picked the last of the cherry tomatoes and peppers also. Just about time to decorate with pumpkins, scarecrows etc.
Praying that you and your family will have a blessed weekend. Mildred

Great photos! I love Autumn and I am so sad to think winter is only around the corner! But that's life I guess eh? Don't your onions freeze over the winter?

Beautiful photos as always. I have my lettuce, spinach, broccoli and cabbage planted. I can't wait for fresh lettuce and spinach! I am hoping we have a looooong fall, after this miserable summer! And of course I don't like to be cooped up inside and dislike cold weather!
