Just the opposite of what I want to do!
If you like me, we want to administer evil in return
"their day is coming" usually are my words uttered
"their day is coming" usually are my words uttered
We must abide in HIM,
as HE instructs in the book of John chapter 15 and verse 4
to be able to administer this Kindness spoke of in Romans,
that our Lord & Saviour suggests.

Oh, yes... I have been in that boat!
And yes... we MUST give kindness to those who we think don't deserve it.
It is what Jesus did.
Beautiful!!!
YIkes Karen...it's so hard to do for me too...I just read Donnie's excerpt from Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech. He did it...so it is doable. thank you for this...hope your weekend is the best.
Abiding in Him. That's what I want to do.
Beautiful photo and of course a very convicting verse! Your whole blog looks beautiful as well.
Have a blessed Sunday!

Wow! What a great photo to go along with that verse!! And a great reminder of how we are supposed to react even though THAT is certainly NOT how we WANT to react!
Oh My! I keep trying.. I fall so short.. thanks for such a strong picture!
So true!
I also love the verse in your header!
OH, and it is so hard.
I am thinking of someone right now that I need to administer kindness too. Thank you!
Love the picture...just beautiful...and yes the reminder of the words of kindness. I have been walking through Proverbs and focusing on the gentleness of our words...there is a lot in that area I need to work on.
Thanks for sharing
Good reminder.

wow!!! SO wonderfully thought provoking and really begs for you to look in the mirror and ask "Do I do that?" I fall short too. Thank you so much for this verse! It is really hitting my heart right now. I really needed to hear this! Bless you!!!
FANTASTIC pairing!
No, it's not what often comes easily to me either. I have never failed to feel the warmth of Jesus Christ kindled inside me when I do, though.
What a wonderful picture you took for this one.
What a "slap my forehead" message. Short but powerful. Thank you.
Great picture and verse
"kill 'em with kindness" is not usually my first choice, either. But what a great reminder to be loving in all circumstances.
Thanks for that reminder!
So true and what an interesting photo. Thanks for sharing.

It's true. Our human nature would like revenge. It is only with God's help that we can have a different attitude.
