I love them. I can't hardly look at old photos this year. I'm so easily prone to tears these days.

I'm told it comes with age and the territory.
Darn that age and territory.

These are wonderful simple pleasures.

Hoping you get that ooomph and inspiration you want. Did you hang your plates?

Oh these are great. I so know what you are feeling...I went down memory lane yesterday when decorating our tree...only two here to decorate. I miss the other four and sometimes wonder when I will not want to hear their footsteps.
Mine live close, but always too busy for things like decorating the tree...of course they are also boys!
Great pictures...enjoy...yes, they grow to fast.

What did you decide on your decorating...please show...you have such a wonderful decorating eye!!

Yes, we are on the same page today aren't we? Love the photos. Time does pass so darn quick and like a flash, the kids are all grown up. Thanks for sharing your memories. Big hugs, Marla

Precious family--the years do pass so very swiftly--once my children were grown, I guess I thought the years would slow down their swiftness--now I have grown grandchildren and that seems impossible to me--Enjoy these precious years!

Aww...what a lovely family, Karen! I love to look back at snaps of my family too and it seems to bring you right back to what was going on.
Thanks for popping in to see me and that's a great idea! :)

Oh, when I look at photos from the past, I get lost! Love, love, love looking at pictures of the kids when they were younger (and me too).
So how old are you boys now?
I always like when the people in the pictures coordinate their outfits. It shows that they care. And you home is beautiful!

Hi Karen, I'm a bit behind and just catching up...old photos often make me cry. I read several of your recent posts - what did you decide to to with the plates? Glad you had a nice time away...can't wait to see your Christmas decorations.

Hi Karen! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. Time does go by so fast and it seems that when the holidays roll around, we tend to do a lot of reminiscing, especially as we get older.

"Memories are the treasures that we keep locked deep within the storehouse of our souls, to keep our hearts warm when we are lonely". ~Becky Aligada
