May my Thanksgiving List always Exceed my request list
Lord, at this moment I humble myself,
knowing that pride and arrogance
cannot walk hand in hand with thanksgiving.
I desire to practice gratitude and daily surrender
my will to this walk of life.
Give me understanding to these words
pain does have potential for gratitude,
when problems arise this too is
an opportunity for my faith to be exercised.
Viewing situations with gratitude
takes deliberation of the will and practice.
It is so easy to overlook blessings,
if our hearts are not molded to gratitude.
Gratitude = Worship
For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many,
may cause thanksgiving to abound to the Glory of God.
2 Cor. 4:15
You Lord, are my Shepherd,
I have more than I need, I am thankful for
your faithfulness, provisions, and your wonderful WORD
that contains treasures more than sufficient for my
every need. Amen

I LOVE your post today, and I LOVE this quote:
"May my Thanksgiving List always Exceed my request list"
Praying that God continues to move on my heart so my THANKSGIVING list exceeds my request list.
Love ya.
Love that first pic...and His light in you!
Beautiful list, sweet friend and I love
Gratitude=Worship--what a great equation and TRUE! That kind of math is hard to beat.
Loving you,
Dianne
Wonderful, inspiring post...the pictures are great...the thankful heart a blessing.
Thanks for sharing and keeping my thoughts in the right direction.
Karen - I love the beautiful pictures and the challenge you give to do something to make someone smile this week. You have brought that smile to me by causing me to recall all the things I'm grateful to God for in my life. Blessings!
Dearest Karen... i'm always inspired by your posts. Thank you for this beautiful post!

Ruth
Thank you for adding another grace note to my day with this post!
You are looking and seeing too, Karen.
I am rejoicing with you. I especially
love the quote at the start of your
list and number 164, 176 and 180!
But since I love peppermint tea, I
guess I'd better list 169 too.
Blessings to you,
Sandy

Thank you for your earlier visit to my blog. Your comment was very appreciated! Your photographs take my breath away. Just so beautiful! Have a blessed week. ~
Loving your list this week. I will take up your challenge to do something to make someone smile!
Your post was wonderful, and you had me at "hello" with this line:
"Lord, at this moment I humble myself,
knowing that pride and arrogance
cannot walk hand in hand with thanksgiving."
Oh, Karen...I love this: "May my Thanksgiving list always exceed my request list"
I will pray that where you live begins to feel like home. For me, it has been a slow process, but for this group of friends to work so hard to make my birthday special...that was "over the top" for me. God has a plan, I need to be patient. Again, I will pray that you find "home."
It is so nice to meet you Karen - fellow gratitude "journaler."
Your list is beautiful - a reflection of a truly grateful heart.
Dear Karen,
I just commented, but I think I hit the wrong button, so I'm back.
Your heart really shines through your photographs and your words. It is a blessing to visit you.
God bless,
Michele Katherine
