~telling it the way it is~

I need to linger here...

My soul waits in silence for God only; from Him is my salvation.
Psalm 62:1

with His Word

and be reminded

He is my source and strength.

He only is my rock and my salvation,
my stronghold, I shall not be greatly shaken.
Psalm 62:2

Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
Psalm 96:6

I pray my openness with you,
makes you aware that we all
are in need of renewal from time to time.

Please take the time to listen
to the song
At Your Feet

Casting Crowns

at YOUR feet
there is NO where else for me!

Yes. So true that we all need renewal and our strength comes from God alone. I love these beautiful photos too. God bless you!

Oh Karen, that is too funny that your boys remind you about snakes by the ivy! Is yours growing in the ground or a pot?

Your blog is beautiful and your post today is a gorgeous reminder of the peace and beauty God has to offer and the feast that is waiting at his table when we come!

Just lovely, I always need a bit of time for renewal. I think that is such a nice word filled with promise.

Karen, your photos are always so "dreamy." I love them! I feel relaxed when I visit your blog. Beautiful pictures...nice soft music...then I am usually jolted back to reality as 1,2 or 3 kids come running by. :-)

Have you heard of Katie's blog hop, Scripture and a Snapshot? I think you'd be great at that! I have been wanting to do it, but of course time seems to get away from me. You post a picture, and then a verse that goes along with it. I'll bet you'd have a million ideas. I'm really going to try to do it soon!

Your comments always make me SMILE, and hope you're having a wonderful week! :-)

Karen,
Your photos are beautiful. The lighting is incredible but the words highlight them and focus on His Word~the ultimate importance.

Thank you for this thoughtful post.

Blessings,
Janis

hello again,
Your photos have Great Depth, and that makes me feel closer to the Lord. I'm always in awe of how God uses beautiful images to remind me of His beauty.

The picture of the Bible with the Fall time leaves reminds me that "Although the Seasons Change, His word never does".
