~my list reads short~

We need deliberately to call to mind the joys of our journey. Perhaps we should try to write down the blessings of one day.
We might begin; we could never end; there are not pens or paper enough in all the world.
 George A. Buttrick

I believe this quote, which I have previously used, will not be erasable on my Multitude Mondays Post.
Mondays I share with others in the Gratitude Community.
My gift counting continued....

101. tight hugs that filled me up for a week
102. test score that exceeded our request
103. fellowship around the camp-fire
104. smiles from grateful missionaries
105. mother & son time
106. safety on the road for half of the journey
107. plans made for lunch with a brother
108. laughter with football player moms
109. relationships being built
110. stars ~ too many to count (friday @5am  with my sweetheart)

As I sat down to begin writing this post, I became convicted.
I must share my inner thoughts....

Lord, if You allow me to wake after a night of rest, I need a new beginning. My efforts need to be more focused and committed this week. I desire so much to sense your presence in my daily life.  Show me who needs love and encouragement this week.  I offer my thanksgiving to you for those things I have shared and the many that were not written on paper.
Your child

I am still enjoying zinnas from the garden.

I like that quote! I hope you don't mind if I take it for myself. :)

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

There is nothing like fellowship around the campfire with friends.

The Love of God; I had not thought of that hymn. But the verse so applies to the gratitude list.
Thanks for sharing ~~

Karen-Coming here for a visit was like coming to visit an old friend. I like to work on my list while I'm driving or in the bathtub :) I made almost the same recipe of sour dough bread yesterday. I have three duck hunters in the family and I do my best to listen for His plan every day...before I make my own :)

I love that quote. I love your list (especially counting the stars with your sweetheart...)

Most of all, I love your words and prayer of conviction at the end. It's funny how I feel God literally pull my head in different directions week by week. Last week, a recurring theme was TIME, and giving our first fruits of all, including our time, to him. It was my pleasure to focus on that.

This week already, you are the second blogger whom I read who points my head in the direction of others.

Thank you.

Your gratitude list is very fun to read.
I too, love "tight hugs", especially from my son.

You share with us a lot of songs. I just picture you humming or singing during your day.

Counting along with you ... As always, a delight to splash in thankfulness all around.
